HOPE MEDIA GROUP is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Accounting Department. You will report to the Controller and ensure accurate financial statements, variance explanations, and compliance with internal policies and GAAP for the organization.

Responsibilities include month-end close support, journal entries, audits, budgeting, and capital expenditure accounting. Strong Excel skills, confidentiality, and team collaboration are essential for success.

Qualificações

• Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 7+ years Accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail.
• CPA preferred and knowledge of nonprofit regulations (501(c)3) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, maintain, and reconcile accounting records, financial statements, and financial reports.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and support month-end close.
• Prepare and verify journal entries to the general ledger and assist with audits and budgeting.
• Support FP&A with reporting drivers and variance analysis.
• Record and report on capital expenditures, fixed assets, and depreciation.
