Job summary

National Mortgage Staffing is seeking a Senior Mortgage Loan Processor for an in-office role in Greenwich/Fairfield County, CT. This position handles complex files, including Non-QM, Jumbo, and high-net-worth cases, from application to closing.

The ideal candidate will manage a substantial pipeline, coordinate with borrowers and third parties, and ensure compliant, timely processing. In-office schedule is 9:00 AM–5:00 PM with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years mortgage processing experience.
• Experience managing loans from application through closing.
• Experience with Non-QM, Jumbo, Super Jumbo, and portfolio loans.
• Conventional/jumbo processing experience.
• Strong ability to analyze complex income (self-employed, rental)
• Review assets, deposits, source‑of‑fund documentation
• Knowledge of mortgage disclosures and underwriting conditions

Responsibilities

• Manage mortgage files from application through closing.
• Package and submit loans for approval.
• Clear underwriting and closing conditions.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and compliant loan files.
• Coordinate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, attorneys, title companies, appraisers, and other parties.
• Process conventional, jumbo, super jumbo, Non-QM, and portfolio loans.
• Analyze tax returns and complex-income scenarios.
• Review assets, deposits, and source-of-funds documentation.
• Support purchase and refinance transactions.
• Review disclosures, underwriting conditions, and closing requirements.
• Communicate professionally with stakeholders.
• Use LOS, AUS, Arrive/ARIVE, Acumen, and AI tools.
