Job summary

Synechron is seeking an experienced Node/JS Java Developer to build and maintain APIs and middleware for a mobile services platform. The role involves integrating applications, databases, and web/mobile systems with cross-functional teams.

Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, backend integration, and enterprise platform development is required. The base salary for Alpharetta, GA is $110k - $115k per year plus benefits; experience in API design, middleware, and financial services tech is

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
Hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring and Spring Boot, Spring Integration.
Experience with APIs and web services using REST, SOAP, and JSON.
Proficiency with Oracle, DB2, and/or Sybase databases.
Experience building scalable backend/middleware in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain middle-layer services using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Java, and/or C#/.NET.
Build and support APIs and web services enabling integration across platforms.
Collaborate with PMO, Development, Product Management and Operations teams.
Draft architectural diagrams, technical specs, and design documents.
Work within Java, C++, Linux/Unix, Open-Source platforms, and SOA environments.
Contribute to next-generation solutions by adopting new technologies.
Develop robust, scalable, high-performing solutions to meet business needs.
Mentor junior developers and support team growth.
