Job summary

Synechron seeks an experienced Node/JS Java Developer in Menlo Park, CA to build and maintain APIs and middleware for a mobile services platform. The role involves integrating applications, databases, and web/mobile systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, code architecture, CI/CD, and SOA.
• Hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring and Spring Boot, Spring Integration, TypeScript, Node.js, Kafka, ActiveMQ.
• Experience developing APIs and web services using REST, SOAP, and JSON; proficient with Oracle/DB2/Sybase.
• Ability to build scalable, high-performance backend and integration solutions; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain middle-layer services using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Java, and/or C#/.NET.
• Build and support APIs and web services enabling integration across web, mobile, and backend platforms.
• Collaborate with PMO, Development, Product Management, and other teams; review diagrams and design documents.
• Work within Java, C++, Linux/Unix, open-source platforms, and SOA environments; mentor junior developers.
• Contribute to next-generation solution development and ensure robust, scalable, high-performing solutions.
