Job summary
Synechron, a global consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Node/JS Java Developer to build APIs and middleware for a mobile services platform in Alpharetta, GA. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining middle-layer services using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Java, and/or C#/.NET, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
You will work on REST, SOAP, and JSON APIs, integrate with databases, and support enterprise platform development.
Qualifications
- Strong object-oriented programming and design pattern knowledge.
- Hands-on Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and TypeScript experience.
- Proficiency with Node.js, REST, SOAP, and JSON in enterprise contexts.
- Experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, or Sybase.
- Ability to design scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain middle-layer services using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Java, and/or C#/.NET.
- Build and support APIs and web services enabling integration across platforms.
- Collaborate with PMO, Development, Product Management, and other teams.
- Draft technical designs, specifications, and design documents.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices.
