Job summary

Flosum, a profitable Salesforce-native DevSecOps platform, is seeking senior Node.js developers to own substantial parts of our architecture. You will ship production code used by Fortune 500 customers and work directly with engineering leadership, product managers, and the CEO.

This is a long-term, full-time role offering remote-first flexibility, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to influence security, data protection, and reliability at scale on the Salesforce ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Node.js development in production environments.
• Expert-level understanding of asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and Node.js runtime.
• Deep experience with TypeScript in production codebases.
• Strong command of RESTful API design and API security best practices (OAuth 2.0, JWT).
• Proven experience with SQL and NoSQL databases; data modeling and performance considerations at scale.
• Proficiency with Git workflows, code review, automated testing (unit/integration/end-to-end), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure) and IaC concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance backend services and APIs powering enterprise-grade SaaS applications.
• Build scalable, secure Node.js microservices and Salesforce ecosystem integrations.
• Create modern front-end experiences using Vue.js and TypeScript for enterprise users.
• Contribute to CI/CD tooling, automation frameworks, and developer productivity infrastructure.
• Design and implement real-time data processing and event-driven architectures for large-scale data.
