Job summary
Flosum is seeking a Director of Software Development to lead a team of 10 engineers building and scaling our Node.js and Salesforce‑integrated products. This is a hands‑on leadership role for a technical architect at heart who can compress delivery schedules, improve velocity, and own the performance of the overall solution.
You will translate roadmaps into shipped software—on time, with quality, and at scale—while partnering with Product, QA, and Infrastructure.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in software engineering with leadership experience.
- Deep Node.js and Salesforce expertise with hands-on background.
- Proven track record delivering scalable, high‑quality software.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and grow a team of engineers across Node.js services and Salesforce customizations.
- Drive developer velocity using metrics like lead time, deployment frequency, and MTTR.
- Architect end‑to‑end solutions spanning microservices, APIs, and Salesforce integrations.
- Own performance, set SLOs, and hold the team accountable to them.
- Align roadmap with Product, QA, and Infrastructure; remove blockers and ensure delivery.
