Flosum is hiring a Director of Software Development to lead a team of 10 engineers building and scaling our Node.js and Salesforce-integrated products. This is a hands-on leadership role for a technical architect at heart who can compress delivery schedules, drive velocity, and own the performance of the solution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering
• 5+ years leading dev teams of 8–20 engineers
• Hands-on leadership with Node.js and Salesforce
• Proven architect of distributed systems
• Strong estimation, planning, and Agile discipline
• Excellent stakeholder communication with executives

Responsabilités

• Lead and grow a team of 10 full‑stack developers across Node.js services and Salesforce customizations
• Drive developer velocity using DORA metrics (lead time, deployment frequency, change failure rate, MTTR)
• Compress delivery schedules by breaking epics into small, independently shippable slices
• Architect end‑to‑end solutions spanning Node.js microservices, APIs, event-driven patterns, and Salesforce
• Own solution performance: latency, throughput, scalability, and cost; set SLOs
• Establish estimation, sprint, and release discipline; remove blockers; avoid burnout
• Partner with Product, QA, and Infrastructure to align roadmap, capacity, and dependencies
• Recruit, onboard, and performance‑manage engineers; foster ownership and speed
• Track record of schedule compression and on-time releases
• Drive performance optimization and observability across stack
• Apply cloud-native delivery (AWS) with CI/CD, IaC, and modern DevOps practices
• Communicate effectively with executives to manage scope, time, and quality
