Railroad19 is seeking a Senior Node.js Software Engineer with strong backend Node.js experience and familiarity with Angular/React. You will advise, educate, and foster best-in-class solutions while delivering scalable enterprise software.

We are headquartered in Saratoga Springs, NY, with a distributed team of remote developers across the US. A BS/MS in CS/CE or equivalent and 4+ years in production are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a production environment
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/CE or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js and TypeScript

Responsibilities

• Understand our client's fast-moving business requirements
• Negotiate solutions with multiple stakeholders
• Write and maintain scalable enterprise software
• Set up, configure, maintain, and enhance infrastructure for JavaScript/Node.js/TypeScript microservices
• Work in a data analytics-driven environment and with campaign management systems
• Maintain and enhance large-scale API systems
• Code REST interfaces for internal/external requests
• Drive feature engineering and experimentation
• Evaluate the technical trade-offs of decisions
