Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join a fast-growing B2B infrastructure platform. This full-time, 100% remote role centers on TypeScript, Node.js, and Nest.js, with a microservice architecture at scale. EST hours are required, and the team owns a broad service portfolio across 15-18 services.

You will mentor engineers, shape architecture, and ship production-ready features with high impact. The position offers competitive base salary, bonuses, and equity opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend engineering with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience designing and maintaining APIs at scale in production.
• End-to-end services ownership with full ownership.
• Strong system design and microservice architecture.
• Startup mentality with ownership, ambiguity, and speed.
• Clear communicator who defends technical decisions.
• Experience mentoring engineers.
