Job summary

Coherent Solutions is seeking a senior backend engineer to contribute to our client’s SS Platform in the AdTech domain. You will work on Node.js and PHP-based services, build scalable systems, and collaborate with product teams to deliver features and maintain high-quality code.

The role requires 5+ years of backend experience, strong Linux and database skills, and experience with CI/CD tooling like Jenkins. Remote/hybrid options are available, with a global client footprint.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Strong hands-on with Node.js and PHP
• Experience with service-to-service integrations
• Knowledge of web-based and service-oriented design
• Experience with Linux environments and relational DBs (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
• Experience with Git and SDLC processes
• Willingness for on-call production support
• Intermediate+ English proficiency

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, test, and deliver backend services and web apps
• Build scalable solutions for high-volume distributed systems
• Work with Node.js and PHP on server-side features
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve stack
• Design documentation and system architecture input
• Participate in Agile processes and code reviews
• Troubleshoot production issues in Linux environments
