- Oversee in-house IT projects, collaborating with NOC, SOC, Database, and Helpdesk teams.
- Serve as a Level 3 Engineer for client-facing service desk operations.
- Mentor junior systems engineers across U.S. and offshore locations, providing 24/7/365 support for Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and on-premises infrastructure.
- Innovate and standardize desktop and application delivery solutions to elevate enterprise user experiences.

Key Responsibilities
Network & Systems Administration
- Manage and monitor the virtual server environment, disaster recovery, and Microsoft Azure/AD/365 ecosystems.
- Perform daily network/server/desktop administration tasks, including Active Directory (DNS/DHCP/Group Policy), user account management, and software patching.
- Maintain corporate switches, firewalls, VPNs, routers, and wireless networking components.
- Administer Windows-based servers (2008 R2–2025), ensuring data security, virus/malware protection, and compliance.
Project & Technical Support
- Handle system builds (desktops, laptops, servers), application installations, patch management, and cloud migrations.
- Provide technical assessments, process documentation, and user training on desktop/network software and mobile devices.
- Manage system backups, data restores, and software licensing compliance.
- Plan and deploy end-user computing solutions to boost productivity.
- Deliver high-quality support for Managed Services clients, fostering effective communication and ensuring top-tier service.
- Collaborate with customers, the Project Management Office (PMO), and offshore team leads to track SLAs, processes, and reporting.
- Travel up to 20% (local and out-of-state) for onsite collaboration, ensuring strong client relationships.
Required Skills & Experience
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred). Equivalent experience and certifications will be considered.
- Technical Expertise
- Networking: 7+ years managing corporate networks (firewalls, switches, routers, S2S tunnels) with at least one major vendor (Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Aruba, SonicWall, Fortigate).
- Microsoft Environments: 5+ years in Microsoft Azure/365/Windows administration (Active Directory, DNS/DHCP), ideally in a lead role.
- Identity & Security: Familiarity with SSO/Identity Management (Okta preferred), EDR, SIEM, and Vulnerability Management tools.
- Systems & Platforms: Proficiency in Windows Desktop (10/11), Windows Server (2008 R2–2025), Microsoft Office/365/Intune, and scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell, Shell).
- Wireless & Cloud: Experience with wireless networking components (Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Fortinet, SonicWall, Aruba) and knowledge of cloud concepts (e.g., Azure Fabric).
- Leadership & Soft Skills
- Strong consultative and analytical abilities; excels in customer-facing and vendor-facing scenarios.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to lead and mentor teams across different time zones.
- Passion for continuous learning, problem-solving, and driving results in fast-paced settings.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and skilled at balancing multiple priorities.
- Additional Knowledge
- Competence in managing Microsoft Active Directory Domains and MacOS.
- Ability to develop technical documentation, user self-help materials, and procedural guides.
Additional Information
- Hybrid work model with WFH flexibility.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotational schedule to ensure uninterrupted client support.
- Occasional travel (up to 20%) to client sites, both locally and out-of-state.
- Collaborate with senior IT professionals on advanced technologies (cloud, cybersecurity, remote management).
