Job summary
Astreya is seeking an experienced Network Operations Engineer III to support a globally distributed backbone network from the Denver area. You will troubleshoot complex Layer 1-3 issues, own escalations, and collaborate with engineers to drive incidents to resolution.
Responsibilities include monitoring, capacity planning, and improving automation and monitoring systems. A BA/BS in a related field or equivalent experience is required, with 8+ years in network operations and strong vendor
Qualifications
- Requires 8+ years of network operations experience, with optical networks focus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field (or equivalent).
- Proficient with data center networking gear and monitoring/ticketing tools.
Responsibilities
- Operate and troubleshoot a globally distributed Data Center network, including routing and switching.
- Take ownership of escalated Tier 3 cases and drive to resolution.
- Monitor and document incident resolution steps and maintain logs in ticketing systems.
- Support network optimization, capacity planning, and change documentation.
