Acuative is seeking a NOC Analyst 2 in Strongsville, OH, to act as the primary escalation point for Tier 1 events and manage complex incidents across network, server, security, and cloud domains.

Responsibilities include leading incident response, performing root cause analysis on recurring issues, and mentoring NOC Analyst 1 staff. Strong networking, security knowledge, and ITIL-based incident/change management are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a NOC or high-level technical support role (Tier 2+).
• Eligible for U.S. Government Public Trust clearance.
• Associate degree in IT/CS or related field; bachelor’s preferred.
• At least one major networking certification (CCNA/JNCIA/FCP).
• ITIL v4 Foundation is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Own critical incidents from detection to resolution and coordinate responses.
• Lead technical bridge calls with internal teams and vendors.
• Perform initial RCA on recurring incidents to identify patterns and solutions.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools for deep-level analysis.
• Review upcoming infrastructure changes for potential impact and change management adherence.
• Mentor NOC Analyst 1 staff in diagnostic techniques.
