Job summary

Heraeus Medevio seeks a Senior Engineering Technician‑Nitinol to support development and scale‑up of innovative technology platforms at the White Bear Lake, MN site, with occasional travel to Fridley, MN. You will act as an engineering process expert, enabling transfer from development to production and driving data‑driven decisions.

The role emphasizes hands‑on technical leadership in Nitinol and metals, documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration within a regulated medical device

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing or process development environment.
• Experience with Nitinol and Stainless‑Steel post processing (chemical processing, heat setting, micro‑blasting, or electropolishing).
• Experience in a regulated medical device or OEM manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP, SPC, and manufacturing documentation systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects through commercialization.
• Proven ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
• Commitment to positive customer and stakeholder experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced, hands‑on technical support for engineering and process development projects with minimal direction.
• Serve as SME for equipment, tooling, and manufacturing process setup, including scalable manufacturing.
• Apply structured problem‑solving to define processes and make data‑driven decisions.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, setup sheets, and checklists.
• Establish process windows, controls, and operating parameters.
• Support transitions of new products from development to production, including training.
• Support process optimization and controlled changes with ERP/SPC data.
