Job summary

CONFLUENT MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES INC. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to support and optimize material processing operations in our Nitinol materials production environment.

This junior-level individual contributor collaborates across Operations, Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain to ensure high-quality, efficient production and scalable processes. The role emphasizes hands-on engineering support, process improvement, and compliance with FDA/ISO requirements as we drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field; 2-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily engineering support for material processing operations.
• Troubleshoot process, material, and equipment issues to minimize downtime and scrap.
• Lead and support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to improve Cp/Cpk, yield, and throughput.
• Support transfer and scale-up of new Nitinol materials and processes into production.
• Assist with process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and ensure compliance with internal requirements.
