Job summary

TRISTAR is seeking an Engineering Tech V to provide technical support, document review, system troubleshooting, and depot maintenance for NIR NVG optics and related systems. You will perform AT testing support, SWMS-based tasks, and assist with packaging, shipping, and configuration control.

The role requires knowledge of electronic hardware, the ability to lift 15 lbs, and the capacity to work long periods at a desk or on your feet. U.S.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in electronic hardware systems.
• Shall be able to follow detailed and specialized instructions submitted on SWMS shop orders to meet customer requirements.
• HS diploma or higher.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-fielding inspection at destination AT test and evaluation, failure analysis and reporting.
• Provide depot maintenance support for NIR NVG systems and related optics.
• Assist with system integration, disassembly, repair modification and cable/wiring repairs.
