Job summary

Tri Star Engineering, Inc. is seeking an experienced Engineering Tech V to join our DoD-focused team in Indiana. The role provides technical support for NIR NVG systems, depot maintenance, documentation review, and acceptance testing, with emphasis on troubleshooting, repair modification, and configuration control.

You will work on system integration, disassembly, cleaning, and preventive maintenance, supporting fielding activities and ensuring compliance with technical standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or higher required.
• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Knowledge of electronic hardware systems.
• Ability to lift 15 lbs and perform prolonged desk or standing work.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for NIR NVG depot maintenance and AT support.
• Perform troubleshooting, analysis, and disposition of failures per SWMS.
• Assist with system integration, disassembly, cleaning, and repairs on NIR optics.
• Support documentation review and SOP/TRS development as needed.
