Job summary

MercyOne RN III – senior role invites an experienced nurse to lead a small team during 12-hour night shifts. The RN will apply nursing process, maintain clinical standards, and mentor colleagues while ensuring compassionate, patient-centered care within Trinity Health and MercyOne guidelines.

The position requires Iowa RN licensure (IL if practicing there), BLS/ACLS certifications, and commitment to ongoing professional development in a supportive, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Current Iowa RN license; IL license if working in IL.
• BSN preferred for advancement
• Must complete Mandatory Reporter training within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with standards of practice.
• Lead a small team and mentor other nurses.
• Collaborate with interprofessional teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care.
