Job summary

MercyOne Trinity Health is seeking a Senior RN (RN III) for the night shift to plan and provide professional nursing care in accordance with standards and education. The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and collaboration within a shared governance structure.

The RN will lead a small team, advance professional practice, and ensure safe, high-quality patient care while aligning with Trinity Health's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• BSN is preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license is required (IL license if working in IL).
• BLS within 3 months of hire; ACLS within 3 months of hire.
• Specialty practice certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team and mentor colleagues.
• Apply nursing process following standards of practice.
• Coordinate care and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Act as a leader to promote safety and quality outcomes.
