Thermo Fisher Scientific in Maryland seeks an NGS Sales Specialist to drive revenue through strategic sales of advanced instruments and solutions. You will build key relationships across research institutions, pharma, and industry, delivering customized solutions and exceptional customer experiences.

Required: a Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of sales experience in scientific instruments, strong NGS knowledge, and proficiency in Salesforce and Office.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of successful sales experience in scientific instruments or analytical equipment are required.
Preferred fields of study: Science, Oncology, Chemistry, Biology, or Instrumentation.
Proficiency in CRM systems (especially Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience managing complex sales cycles and large capital equipment deals.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage key customer relationships across diverse markets including research institutions and pharmaceutical companies.
Identify opportunities, create customized solutions, and ensure exceptional customer experiences.
Communicate effectively to run strategic sales plans and travel up to 50% within assigned territory.
