Job summary

Twist Bioscience is seeking a Sr NGS Sales Specialist for the San Francisco Bay Area to drive revenue for sequencing products in a field-based role. You will forecast territory results, build high-level relationships, and collaborate with product, R&D, and operations to accelerate revenue.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years selling life science reagents and NGS solutions, strong NGS knowledge, and experience in technical sales or field applications. Salesforce experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of delivering quarterly and annual revenue targets.
• 5+ years selling life science reagents and NGS target enrichment products.
• Demonstrated technical knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing applications.
• Experience in technical sales and support or field applications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attain quarterly and annual revenue targets from commission plans.
• Deliver accurate, timely forecasts for the territory.
• Develop and manage relationships with customers at multiple org levels.
• Develop contingency and risk mitigation plans for the region.
• Develop and execute supply agreements to support new and existing business.
• Collaborate with product management, R&D and operations to minimize time to revenue.
• Maintain CRM with up-to-date information.
• Represent the company at relevant tradeshows.
• Provide customer feedback and identify unmet needs to shape new products.
