Job summary

Twist Bioscience Corporation is seeking an energetic Next Generation Sequencing Sales Specialist to drive revenue in the territory and deliver forecasts for the fiscal year. You will build relationships, manage suppliers and collaborate with product, R&D and operations to speed revenue realization.

The role requires strong NGS applications knowledge and a track record of meeting quarterly targets, with preferred Salesforce experience and a Bachelor’s in Biology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field.
• 5+ years selling life science reagents and NGS products.
• Strong knowledge of NGS applications.
• Experience in technical sales or field applications preferred.
• Salesforce.com experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attain quarterly and annual revenue targets for the territory.
• Deliver accurate and timely forecasts for the territory.
• Develop and manage relationships with new and existing customers at multiple levels.
• Develop contingency and risk mitigation plans for the region.
• Develop and execute supply agreements to support new and existing business.
• Collaborate with product management, R&D and operations to minimize time to revenue.
• Maintain CRM with up-to-date information.
• Represent the company at relevant tradeshows.
• Monitor competitive landscape and provide customer feedback.
• Assist in identifying unmet customer needs for new products.
