Rocket Lab in Maryland seeks a Senior Vehicle Integration Engineer to lead integration, testing, and launch activities for the Neutron vehicle. You will develop ground support tooling, procedures, and work closely with cross-functional teams to enable efficient vehicle processing.

The role requires 5+ years of hardware experience, strong technical writing, and the ability to interface mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems. Base pay ranges from $115,000 to $187,850 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building and testing hardware for launch vehicles and environments.
• Proficiency in authoring detailed work instructions and procedures for assembly, test, and launch.
• Ability to interface with mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop con-ops and ground support tooling for Neutron components and stages.
• Develop and execute procedures for integrating flight hardware with ground support equipment.
• Support day-to-day Neutron integration, propellant, avionics, and AFTS activities.
• Create maintenance architecture, build flow, and test operation plans for efficiency.
• Develop and maintain Neutron processing facilities.
