Job summary

The Wexner Medical Center at Ohio State University seeks a Research Senior Associate to design, execute and manage studies on neural circuits governing behavioral thermoregulation and fever in a foundational biology lab. Collaborate with the PI to set goals, plans and protocols for complex experiments.

Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent experience required; 3 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's Degree, or 1 year with Master's Degree.
Considerable experience in a biological/health research capacity.

Responsibilities

Design, execute and manage research projects investigating neural circuits of behavioral thermoregulation and fever.
Collaborate with PI to develop and implement study goals and objectives.
Plan and perform advanced molecular and cellular analyses, imaging and data analysis.
Train and supervise staff; oversee daily lab operations and procurement.
Prepare grant proposals, reports and manuscripts for publication and presentation.
