Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required; 4 years of relevant experience with HS diploma or GED, 2 years with Associate's degree, or 0 years with Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience conducting molecular/cellular techniques and interpreting data.
  • Experience with miRNA and RT-qPCR is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and support scientific investigation to study epilepsy in the lab.
  • Independently conduct assigned experiments and develop study goals.
  • Design and execute complex lab experiments and perform advanced techniques.
  • Manage and handle laboratory animals and coordinate lab activities.
  • Prepare proposals, reports and manuscripts for publication or funding.
