Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center's Department of Neurology seeks a Research Associate to contribute to planning, design, execution, and management of research projects in a foundational biological/health science laboratory investigating neurodegenerative disease and related translational neuroscience research.

The role involves complex laboratory experiments, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration within NeuroMAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3 years of relevant experience with an associate’s degree, or 1 year of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree.
• Background check and pre-employment physical/drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and manage research projects in a neuroscience lab.
• Design and conduct advanced molecular and cellular experiments.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data; assist in methods and analytics development.
• Prepare manuscripts, reports, and presentations for conferences.
• Support grant proposals and maintain SOPs and inventories.
• Coordinate lab activities and collaborators across NeuroMAP initiatives.
