Job summary

Takeda is seeking a field-based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in the US. You will analyze and translate scientific data, develop expert networks, and connect customers to Takeda to advance medical strategy and patient outcomes. Territory includes MA, NH, RI, CT, VT, ME.

You will build relationships with KOLs/HCPs, deliver compliant scientific exchanges, and support Takeda-sponsored research while collecting insights to steerMedical strategy. Strong collaboration and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in life/health sciences preferred or relevant equivalent.
• Master’s degree in health sciences required at minimum.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-doctoral field-based MSL experience in pharma.

Responsibilities

• Externally-focused KOL/HCP activities comprise ~80% of responsibilities.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with KOLs/HCPs per territory plans.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of disease areas, products, and competitor landscape; communicate data compliantly.
• Support sponsored research and assist in investigator-initiated studies.
• Capture insights from KOLs/HCPs to refine medical strategies and tactics.
