Job summary

Takeda is seeking a field-based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join the US Medical team. The territory includes MA, NH, RI, CT, VT, ME and requires extensive external engagement with KOLs and HCPs to advance medical strategy.

The role emphasizes compliant data interpretation, collaboration with investigators, and documentation of activities and insights in CRM systems, with a focus on delivering patient-outcome improvements.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and collaboration skills.
• Execution of activities within legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
• Use of digital tools, including AI, to enhance productivity and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Externally-focused KOL/HCP activities are expected to comprise a minimum of 80% of responsibilities.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with KOLs/HCPs per individual territory plans aligned to medical strategy.
• Disseminate advanced knowledge regarding Takeda disease areas and products to KOLs/HCPs in a compliant, fair-balanced, and non-misleading manner.
• Support Takeda-sponsored research and assist with facilitation of medical collaborative studies and investigator-initiated research processes.
• Display advanced knowledge of therapeutic area intelligence topics and collect, interpret, and communicate medical insights to refine strategies.
• Identify and cultivate partnerships between KOLs/HCPs and Takeda US Medical.
• Participate in medical strategy at conferences and communicate insights from posters/sessions.
