Censys is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to own networking across our hybrid infrastructure. Our platform scans the internet from globally distributed data centers and cloud regions, making network performance a core part of product reliability.

You will shape architecture, automate primitives, lead resiliency programs, protect edge services, and mentor teams while staying hands-on for incidents spanning Kubernetes and public cloud networks.

Qualifikationen

• Deep networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, BGP, anycast, DNS, TLS, scalable load balancing.

Aufgaben

• Own networking direction across hybrid environment including data centers, GCP VPC, Kubernetes networking, and edge.
• Design and automate core networking primitives (load balancing, ingress, routing, DNS, BGP, TLS termination).
• Lead cross-datacenter resiliency program for the on-premises scanning platform.
• Own edge protection including DDoS mitigation and WAF strategy.
• Set networking standards and secure cross-team buy-in for multi-quarter infrastructure initiatives.
• Mentor SRE team to grow networking depth and act as escalation point for complex incidents across layers.
