Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an intermediate-level contractor for an onsite role at Eielson Air Force Base, AK. The project runs 6–7 months and requires an active Secret Clearance. The pay rate is $44.44 per hour.

Your responsibilities include providing guidance to field engineers, coordinating with Government POCs to align installation tasks, reviewing work for accuracy, and delivering timely project milestones. You will support fiber optic testing with OTDR equipment, assist with ISP/OSP design

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance
• onsite in Fairbanks, AK for a 6–7 month project
• Contract position based out of Eielson AFB, AK

Responsibilities

• Provides solutions to problems and guidance to less experienced field engineers.
• Provides guidance on different types of equipment and infrastructure maintenance.
• Provides guidance and installs more advanced or new technologies based on the needs of the customer/client.
• Support and conduct end-to-end testing of fiber optic cables using OTDR, power meters, and other tools.
• Leadership - Lead small implementation teams or manage specific work scopes for a given site location.
