AT&T Global Public Sector in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Systems Engineer on the Systems Engineering and Program Management team. The role applies disciplined engineering principles and SDLC practices to guide artifacts and enable enterprise architecture service delivery.

You will support end-to-end architecture delivery from requirements through lifecycle sustainment, ensuring hardware and software solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned to strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• 16 years of combined work history and education required (Doctorate with 8 years experience or Masters with 10 years, Bachelors with 12 years, Associates with 14 years or HS diploma with 16 years)
• Technical knowledge of network infrastructure and hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.)
• Experience facilitating and leading meetings (readiness review gates)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for engineering documents and presentations
• Ability to multi-task, persuade others, and guide teammates
• Attention to detail and quality of deliverables

Responsibilities

• Embrace and use customer AI tools to provide systems analysis and document requirements
• Develop end-to-end enterprise analysis and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture
• Translate customer needs into hardware and software requirements
• Identify and coordinate with stakeholders to communicate and resolve issues
• Verify that system components work together to meet requirements
• Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve workflow
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Perform strategic systems planning and business information planning
• Manage dependencies within IT infrastructure
• Apply process improvement to redesign methods and business processes
• Evaluate industry products for potential use in design
• Develop information models for integrated systems
• Assist in establishing information systems standards
