AT&T Global Public Sector has an opening for a Core Network Engineer to support government customers. The position requires office presence at a Chantilly, VA site with no relocation and a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.

The role includes designing and developing tools, integrating with commercial applications, and building networks for federal missions. Strong IA credentials and extensive experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold DoD 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2.
• Requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Candidate must have 10 years of experience (work history + education) or equivalent qualifications such as doctorate + 3 years, master's + 4 years, etc.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop tools for relevant operating systems platforms.
• Design and develop tools that integrate with commercial applications.
• Develop database management systems, image processing, and data visualization tools.
• Develop and conduct unit tests; document designs and instructions.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and users to devise new programming methods.
• Train subordinates in programming and program coding.
• Design and build websites using scripting languages and content tools.
