Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Network Systems Engineer for a DoD enterprise network program. This on-site role is based at Pearl Harbor, HI (PRLH) with alternate locations in Whidbey Island, WA and Norfolk, VA.

You will be a senior technical resource for enterprise network engineering, Tier III troubleshooting, configuration management, and modernization initiatives across a dispersed environment. Responsibilities include leading complex troubleshooting, configuring

Qualifications

8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
Experience with LAN/WAN/WLAN, SD-WAN, MPLS, VPNs, and routing protocols.
Active Secret clearance; eligible for Top Secret.
DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification (CASP+, CISSP, CCNP Security, or equivalent).
Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or equivalent certifications.

Responsibilities

Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex enterprise network issues across LAN/WAN/WLAN/SD-WAN/VPN.
Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, wireless APs, VLANs, and security infrastructure.
Develop Engineering Implementation Plans (EIPs), manage change requests, root cause analysis.
Maintain configuration baselines, ensure DISA STIG compliance, and validate upgrades.
Participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies and support future-state network architecture.
