Job summary
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Systems Engineer to support a large-scale DoD enterprise network program. This on-site role is located at Pearl Harbor, HI, with alternate locations in Whidbey Island, WA or Norfolk, VA.
The engineer will serve as a senior resource for enterprise network engineering, Tier III troubleshooting, and modernization initiatives across a dispersed environment. Responsibilities include leading troubleshooting across LAN/WAN/WLAN/SD-WAN, configuring routers,
Qualifications
- 8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
- Active Secret clearance; eligible for Top Secret clearance.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification.
- CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or equivalent network vendor certification.
Responsibilities
- Lead troubleshooting, analysis, and resolution of complex enterprise network issues.
- Configure, maintain, and support routers, switches, firewalls, and network security components.
- Develop Engineering Implementation Plans (EIPs) and manage change requests.
- Maintain DISA STIG compliance and support lab validation testing.
