Job summary

Triangle DeCon Services Inc. is hiring a Programmer/Analyst III to support BuildLACCD IT operations and manage network infrastructure across campus sites.

You will configure networks, administer Windows servers, and ensure system reliability while maintaining security and disaster recovery plans.

The role requires strong problem solving and collaborative skills, with 7+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of applicable systems and network administration experience.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college in computer science or related field; additional four years may substitute for education.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, positive attitude and keen attention to detail.
• Strong collaboration and ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Windows Servers; familiarity with DNS, DHCP, SMTP, HTTP/HTTPS.
• Experience with VPN Appliances and Cisco Meraki Appliances.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, backup/recovery, Nessus and Splunk.
• Experience with VMware, Hyper-V hypervisors and cloud architecture.

Responsibilities

• Configures, manages and provides technical networking support for physical and virtual environments.
• Testing, installation, configuration and maintenance of operating systems, applications, and network devices.
• Ensure system uptime and communicate with the team; oversee network/server availability.
• Install and configure client and server software and perform upgrades as needed.
• Monitor and resolve network and system issues to ensure reliable operations.
• Lead projects to deliver services aligned with objectives.
• Provide technical support for firewalls, Wi‑Fi APs, switches and other devices.
• Assist with security threat responses and disaster recovery planning.
