Job summary

Triangle DeCon Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Programmer/Analyst III to join BuildLACCD PMO IT team in Los Angeles area.

You will administer and operate computer networks, servers, and storage, and support disaster recovery and Level 2/3 helpdesk tickets. Responsibilities include configuring networks, testing OS and software, maintaining security, backups, and collaborating with campus sites to ensure uptime and service availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of applicable systems and network administration experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field; additional four years may substitute education.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage physical and virtual networks, hosts, and storage.
• Testing, installation, configuration and maintenance of operating systems, application software, and network device configurations
• Ensure system uptime and communicate effectively with IT team; oversee administration of systems and servers
• Install and configure client and server network software, perform upgrades as needed
• Proactively monitor and identify network and system issues and take corrective action
• Manage assigned projects to deliver services per objectives
• Configure, manage, and support firewalls, Wi‑Fi APs, switches and other devices
• Respond to inquiries and provide timely technical assistance and support
