Ziply Fiber in Everett, WA is seeking a Senior Strategic Analyst – Network Strategy & Investment to drive critical network investment decisions, structuring problems, building financial models, and turning large datasets into clear executive recommendations.

The role covers network expansion, capital allocation, deployment economics, competitive intelligence, and long-range planning. The ideal candidate combines strong financial and strategic skills with the ability to work with geospatial data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or analytical field.
• 3–7 years in corporate strategy, strategic finance, investment analysis, telecom, or capital-intensive industries.
• Experience structuring complex analyses and deriving recommendations.
• Strong financial modeling skills (NPV/IRR, scenario modeling).
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to build complex models.
• Experience with large datasets and multiple data sources.
• Ability to communicate findings to senior leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently.

Responsibilities

• Structure strategic questions related to network investment and deployment.
• Build financial models (NPV, IRR, payback, capital efficiency).
• Develop scenario analyses for deployment strategies and costs.
• Create business cases for new markets and network expansions.
• Analyze trade-offs across capital, timing, and competitive dynamics.
• Translate findings into actionable recommendations for leadership.
• Support long-range capital planning and portfolio optimization.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Operations, and Finance.
• Develop competitive intelligence to inform investment strategy.
