Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a seasoned Technical SRE lead to actualize the SRE vision for our network infrastructure. You will own operational reliability, automate tasks, and mentor peers while focusing on user experience and network excellence.

Responsibilities include partnering with architecture teams, driving automation, and maintaining high availability across campus and data center networks. Equity and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of industry experience in network site reliability engineering or related areas.
• Experience on campus and data center networks.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Alert Manager, Nautobot/Netbox, BigPanda.
• Automation experience with Salt, Ansible, or similar.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Go.
• Knowledge of TCP/IPv4/IPv6, BGP, VPN, L2 switching, firewalls, load balancers, EVPN, VxLAN, SR.
• Proven track record in network operations.
• Experience with ServiceNow and Jira.
• Linux fundamentals are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational aspect of the network infrastructure with high availability.
• Collaborate with architecture and deployment teams to ensure production-ready implementations.
• Advocate for and implement automation to reduce toil and improve efficiency.
• Monitor network performance and coordinate improvements with involved teams.
• Work with SMEs to resolve production issues quickly while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and partner to implement solutions.
