Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a seasoned Technical SRE lead to advance the SRE vision for our network infrastructure. You will own operations, drive automation, observability, and documentation while mentoring others to elevate operational excellence and user satisfaction.

You will partner with architecture and deployment teams to ensure new implementations are supportable and align with production standards, while tackling significant projects that reduce toil and sustain reliable network services.

Qualifications

BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of industry experience in network site reliability engineering, network automation, network operations, or related areas.
Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, Alert Manager, Nautobot/Netbox, BigPanda.
Expertise in automating networks using Salt, Ansible, or similar.
In depth experience in Python, Go.
Knowledge of TCP/UDP, IPv4/IPv6, Wireless, BGP, VPN, L2 switching, Firewalls, Load Balancers, EVPN, VxLAN, SR.
Knowledge of ServiceNow and Jira.

Responsibilities

Own the operational aspect of the network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Partner with architecture and deployment teams to ensure new implementations are supportable and production-aligned.
Advocate for and implement automation to reduce toil and improve efficiency.
Monitor network performance and coordinate improvements with relevant teams.
Collaborate with SMEs to resolve production issues quickly while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Identify and drive operational improvements in collaboration with teams.
