Job summary

Pareto Solutions Group, Inc. is seeking a hands-on networking leader to build and run its infrastructure network function. You will guide a team of engineers, manage the department budget, and keep senior leadership informed on progress, risk, and spending.

The role is mostly remote with periodic travel to sites for deployments, involving architecture across wired, wireless, and perimeter network gear, and ownership of networks supporting building automation, security, and OT systems.

Qualifications

7+ years in enterprise networking and at least 3 years leading people.
Experience owning a budget and presenting to executives.
Experience in high-uptime environments such as data centers or industrial sites.
Clear communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Build, coach, and manage a team of network engineers, setting goals and high standards.
Plan and manage department budget, vendor spend, and long-term forecasting.
Brief executives and the board on strategy, projects, risks, and funding needs.
Guide architecture and rollout of wired, wireless, and perimeter network gear across sites.
Own networks behind building automation, power monitoring, security, and sensors.
Set and enforce security standards including segmentation, vendor access, and patch programs.
Act as escalation point during outages and security events; maintain recovery plans.
Keep diagrams, device standards, and equipment records; ensure change control processes.
Partner with construction, facilities, IT, security, and vendors from build-out to go-live.
