Job summary

Opensity Solutions, a leading tech-enabled MSP, seeks a Sr. Network Engineer, Project Engineering to design and implement scalable network infrastructures for enterprise clients.

You will work on LAN/WAN/WLAN/SD-WAN architectures and coordinate with security teams to ensure robust protection and compliance. The role requires deep networking expertise, strong collaboration across cross-functional teams, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of progressive network engineering experience.
• 3+ years with Palo Alto firewalls (implementation and troubleshooting).
• 5+ years with Layer 3 networking, routing and switching.
• 5+ years for Arista switching in enterprise environments.
• 1+ year experience with Arista wireless solutions.
• 2+ years supporting Azure networking and cloud connectivity.
• Experience with Fortinet, Meraki, Extreme and Dell networking.
• MSP experience delivering across multiple client environments.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field; relevant certs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise network architectures (LAN/WAN/WLAN/SD-WAN).
• Evaluate existing networks and identify improvements for reliability and performance.
• Partner with business development to scope network projects and opportunities.
• Ensure projects meet budget and delivery targets with cross‑functional teams.
• Implement and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Coordinate with security teams on policies and intrusion detection systems.
• Develop monitoring metrics to identify bottlenecks and latency issues.
• Lead capacity planning to support business growth.
• Create incident response and disaster recovery plans for networks.
• Document configurations, diagrams, and procedures; mentor staff.
• Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, and technology evaluations.
