Job summary

I2X Technologies is seeking a Senior Network Solutions Engineer for a Fort Meade, MD-based, on-site role requiring an active Secret clearance. The position focuses on defining architecture, optimizing network capabilities, and delivering documentation and reports to government customers.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (or related discipline) and 5–10 years of related experience.
• Experience with network systems engineering methodologies.
• Experience with architecture diagrams.
• Experience performing requirements analysis.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong customer relation skills.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Active Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Define program-level architecture and engineering needs with program leadership.
• Apply system knowledge to design new capabilities and enhancements to the baseline.
• Advise on network optimization opportunities and provide design recommendations.
• Define system requirements for new capabilities.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation and current diagrams.
• Prepare briefings on system integration, progress, and status for technical and leadership audiences.
• Produce reports, baseline documentation, and meeting materials.
• Maintain authorized-user records and configurations.
• Generate configuration management reports for oversight and decision-making.
• Evaluate/new technologies for integration into the network.
• Create/update end-user documentation.
