Responsibilities

  • Work with the program leadership team to define program-level architecture and engineering needs.
  • Apply system knowledge and engineering methodologies to help design new capabilities and enhancements to the operational baseline.
  • Advise the program engineering team on network optimization opportunities and provide design recommendations.
  • Define system requirements for new capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive infrastructure documentation, including accurate, current network diagrams and system architecture records.
  • Prepare and brief technical and programmatic updates related to system integration, implementation progress, and operational status.
  • Produce reports, presentation materials, baseline documentation, and meeting support materials for technical and leadership audiences.
  • Maintain authorized-user records, system configurations, and related operational documentation.
  • Generate routine and on-demand configuration management reports to support government oversight, compliance, and decision-making.
  • Evaluate and test current and emerging technologies for integration into the network as new or enhanced capabilities.
  • Create/update end user documentation such as user guides

Desired Experience and Skills

  • Experience supporting or strong familiarity with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) networks and services.
  • Experience or familiarity with non‑terrestrial network communication systems. Specifically pLEO (Proliferated Low Earth Orbit) or Low Earth Orbit (LEO) technologies.
  • Experience with network layered encryption topologies and methodologies.
  • Experience with ITIL service delivery concepts and best practices.
  • Experience with change, configuration and performance management NetOps concepts.
  • Experience with system security, design, and architecture.

Essential Requirements:

  • US Citizenship is required
  • Active Secret clearance is required

Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
