You will evangelize advanced software planning within CIP/HS ecosystems and influence product strategy across engineering and sales.

This senior IC role operates at the intersection of research, product strategy, and market engagement, with significant internal and external influence and travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in networking, network software, cloud infrastructure, automation, or related technology domains.
• Deep experience with network software architectures, including APIs, telemetry, automation, orchestration, and cloud-native systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate emerging network software technologies for potential productization.
• Assess feasibility, maturity, risk, and readiness of advanced software concepts.
• Translate customer needs, market drivers, and use cases into long-range software planning inputs.
• Act as the Advanced Software Planning interface to Product and Engineering teams.
• Engage in industry forums and customer engagements to evangelize 1Finity in CIP/HS markets.
• Feed market and ecosystem insights back into product, engineering, and sales.
