Job summary
1Finity, a Fujitsu company, seeks a senior network software and strategy professional to establish Advanced Software Planning as a core capability within the Photonics Business Unit. You will study, shape, and influence next‑generation network software technologies to inform long‑range roadmaps and investment decisions.
This senior IC role interfaces with Product, Engineering, and Sales, coordinating across research, strategy, and market engagement while representing 1Finity in CIP/HS
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in networking, network software, cloud infrastructure, automation, or related technology domains.
- Deep experience with network software architectures, including APIs, telemetry, automation, orchestration, and cloud‑native systems.
- Strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure Provider (CIP) networks, operational models, and technology trends.
- Proven experience translating emerging technologies into product strategy, platform planning, or long‑range roadmaps.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate emerging network software technologies for potential productization.
- Assess feasibility, maturity, risk, and readiness of advanced software concepts and architectures.
- Translate customer needs and market drivers into long‑range software planning inputs aligned with 1Finity’s product strategy.
- Recommend build, partner, or ecosystem approaches for advanced software capabilities.
- Act as the Advanced Software Planning interface to Product and Engineering teams with strategic direction.
- Engage in industry forums, standards bodies, and customer engagements to evangelize 1Finity as an advanced solution provider.
- Feed market and ecosystem insights back into Product, Engineering, and Sales to improve market knowledge.
