Job summary

GovCIO seeks a Master Network & Security Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and operations of enterprise network-security infrastructure in a fully remote US role. You will own Palo Alto NGFW environments, Panorama management, HA designs, Cisco switching, and segmentation while coordinating with SOC and cloud teams.

You will develop security policies, perform troubleshooting, mentor junior engineers, and drive continuous improvement across log ingestion, Cortex XSIAM, and Strata Logging

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years in network engineering and security operations.
• 6+ years with Palo Alto firewalls in production environments.
• Experience with Panorama, HA designs, and device-management.
• Knowledge of network segmentation, VPNs, and routing.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, and 운영 of Palo Alto NGFW environments.
• Own centralized firewall management via Panorama and HA setups.
• Design and govern security policies using zero-trust and least privilege.
• Troubleshoot zones, NAT, VPNs, URL filtering, and threat prevention.
• Mentor engineers and drive improvements across logging and SOC partnership.
• Coordinate with SOC, cloud, and leadership on security posture.
