Job summary

SMART TECH SKILLS LLC in Reading, PA seeks a Senior Network Security Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize enterprise security. You will specialize in Palo Alto NGFWs, Cisco ASA/Firepower, ISE NAC, VPN, and SD-WAN security to protect multi-site financial infrastructure.

This role emphasizes hands-on firewall engineering, incident response, change management, and documentation, with flexible work-from-home options.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network security.
• 3+ years designing and managing Palo Alto NGFWs with Panorama.
• Experience administering Cisco ASA/Firepower firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of NAC with Cisco ISE and 802.1X.
• Experience with VPNs, SD-WAN, and PCI-NIST contexts.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage NGFWs and perimeter defenses.
• Administer Cisco ASA/Firepower and implement access control policies.
• Lead incidents and monitoring of security alerts.
• Manage NAC with Cisco ISE and VPN infrastructure.
• Configure SD-WAN and Umbrella DNS security.
• Collaborate on PCI-DSS, SOX, and NIST aligned security controls and document SOPs.
• Prepare and participate in change management and CAB reviews.
