Job summary

IntelliBee is seeking a Sr. Network Security Engineer to lead design and implementation of perimeter and infrastructure security controls for a premier client.

The role focuses on Palo Alto networks across on‑prem and multi‑cloud environments (AWS/Azure) with security automation and leadership responsibilities. The ideal candidate has 11+ years in cybersecurity engineering, deep firewall expertise, and strong scripting skills to automate security workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 11+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Hands-on Palo Alto firewall administration in complex environments.
• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs and perimeter defense.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, DLP, CASB and WAF solutions.
• Direct cloud security experience in AWS and Azure.
• Proficient scripting to automate workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize perimeter and infrastructure security controls.
• Lead Palo Alto firewall rule maintenance and configuration.
• Collaborate with cloud and application teams across AWS/Azure.
• Monitor SIEM events, perform threat hunting, and investigations.
• Mentor junior engineers and develop runbooks and procedures.
