Job summary

CoreWeave, The Essential Cloud for AI, seeks an experienced Network Security Engineer to design and implement security across our hyperscale cloud. You will secure network perimeters, internal fabrics, and GPU interconnects while promoting a security-first culture across cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have 3–7 years of hands-on network security in cloud or hyperscale environments, with deep knowledge of firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPNs, and zero-trust architectures.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of hands-on experience in network security engineering, with exposure to large-scale cloud or hyperscaler environments.
• Proven track record protecting complex, distributed systems at scale.
• Deep understanding of network security principles and technologies, including mitigations for DDoS, high-speed data center fabrics, and web exploits.
• Strong knowledge of securing modern cloud and network architectures and familiarity with standards (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC2).

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy security measures across network perimeter and internal fabrics to protect CoreWeave’s hyperscale infrastructure.
• Champion a Zero Trust security model across network and cloud environments.
• Establish robust monitoring for network security events and coordinate incident response.
• Collaborate with Networking, Infrastructure, and Software Engineering teams to ensure security by design.
• Secure GPU clusters and interconnects, protecting data in transport.
• Educate partners and lead security training sessions across teams.
• Refine and enforce security policies for a scalable, distributed environment.
